Description
Delta Kits’ Carbide Scribe with Magnet is the perfect tool for making sharp lines on hardened materials such as hardened steel or stainless steel. The end of the Carbide Scribe includes a powerful magnet which can easily pick up small metallic parts and retrieve steel chips/shavings from hard to reach areas.
A scribe is a popular hand tool in metal working. Carbide tipped scribes mark clean sharp lines, cutting through rust, dirt, paint and other coatings. Lines made with the Carbide Scribe with Magnet are not easily removed without grinding or polishing. The carbide pointed tip will retain it edge hardness longer compared to other materials.
Caution: Carbide points will scratch glass.

Is there a way to remove dirt from windscreen damage?
Question:
Is there a way to remove dirt from windscreen damage?
Answer:
Chip savers are a good option for preventing liquid and solid contaminants from entering the damage. But, once contaminates enter the damage your options are to use canned air and a steel scribe to remove contamination on or near the surface. Alcohol, acetone, solvents, and even water, may compromise the integrity of the PVB “laminate.” So, Delta Kits does not recommend using any type of liquid to clean or dry damage below.
